4 Wheel Parts: The Year in Review

2015 was a groundbreaking year for 4 Wheel Parts that included bold retail store expansion, Truck & Jeep Fest hitting Canada for the first time, partnerships and sponsorships for off-road races and events and donations to charitable causes.

“2015 was a year full of achievements that we would love to use as a standard for greater successes moving forward,” said 4 Wheel Parts President and CEO Greg Adler. “I want to thank each and every one of our customers for choosing us and making this past year the greatest in our company’s history.”

Here’s a review of 2015’s major highlights, with snapshot descriptions.

★ 4 Wheel Parts, kicked off its 2015 Truck & Jeep Fest tour on the weekend of February 21-22 in San Mateo, California. Truck & Jeep Fests offer off-road enthusiasts a great opportunity to see the latest truck and Jeep accessories and interact with industry professionals. The nation’s largest touring off-road show took place at the San Mateo Event Center and nine total events were scheduled for 2015. Other Truck & Jeep Fests happened in Honolulu, Hawaii; Puyallup, Washington; Edmonton, Canada; Dallas, Texas; Ontario, California; Denver, Colorado; Atlanta, Georgia and Orlando, Florida with a special customer appreciation event in Columbiana, Ohio.

★ 4 Wheel Parts announced that it would be supported by its partnership with the world’s largest hot dog chain, Wienerschnitzel, at the 2015 Lucas Oil Off Road Races. Wienerschnitzel will serve hot dogs and chili dogs at the 4 Wheel Parts hospitality tent during select events at the Lucas Oil short course race series, deemed one of the world’s most intense off-road competitions. “We could not be more excited about extending our partnership with Greg Adler and the 4 Wheel Parts team while supporting these extreme off-road events,” said Wienerschnitzel’s Chief Visionary Officer, J.R. Galardi.

4 Wheel Parts announced its return as the “Official Off Road Parts Retailer” of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. The popular off-road racing organization kicked off the 2015 season March 20-21 at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park in Lake Elsinore, California. The agreement extended the long time partnership for another year as the series continued to expand into new markets and experience increased attendance and broadcast viewership.

4 Wheel Parts celebrated the grand opening of its new Canadian store in Langley, BC with a special event. On Saturday, April 25, off-road enthusiasts descended upon the brand new location for installation specials, hourly prize drawings, giveaways and tours of the state-of-the-art service bay. This newly opened Langley location joined the lineup of 69 4 Wheel Parts stores serving the 4×4 community across North America.

For the first time ever, North America’s only touring off-road show and exposition came to Canada when 4 Wheel Parts brought its Truck & Jeep Fest to Edmonton’s EXPO Centre on May 2-3. While reinforcing its position as the global leader in truck, Jeep and 4×4 performance product sales and installation, 4 Wheel Parts’ unique Truck & Jeep Fest event complemented the corporation’s seven Canadian retail locations which included the recently opened store in Langley, BC.

4 Wheel Parts retail stores staged grand openings and grand reopenings to further its aggressive expansion initiative. The Baton Rouge, Louisiana store held a grand opening on Saturday, June 13 and on that same day, two Colorado stores in Denver and Westminster held grand reopening celebrations.

4 Wheel Parts signed on as a title sponsor of the Ultra4 Grand Prix at legendary Glen Helen Raceway. Ultra4 Racing and Team 4 Wheel Parts returned to Southern California for the 5th annual 4 Wheel Parts Glen Helen Grand Prix July 10-11.  The legendary off-road facility carved into the hills of San Bernardino welcomed Greg Adler, Brent Goegebuer and over 100 Ultra4 cars competed in this second event in the 2015 Ultra4 Trail-Gear Western Regional Series.

4 Wheel Parts, in collaboration with BFGoodrich® Tires, announced the winners of the 2015 Outstanding Trails program. Nominated for uniqueness, terrain type and enthusiast following, four trails and their associated clubs were selected for this year’s honor, presented by 4 Wheel Parts. The 2015 winning programs were:

  • Applegate-Lassen Wagon Trail, NV, High Rock Trekkers
  • Bald Mountain OHV Trails, Sierra National Forest, CA, Clovis Independent 4 Wheelers
  • Barrett Lake Trail, El Dorado National Forest, CA, Hi-Landers 4WDC
  • Black Bear Pass, Silverton, CO, Creeper Jeepers Gang of Durango

BFGoodrich Outstanding Trails

4 Wheel Parts sponsored the second annual Ultra4 Nitto National Championship October 16-17 in Reno, Nevada. Wild West Motorsports Park was the site of a two-mile long natural terrain course where members of Team 4 Wheel Parts competed in the two-day event presented by MetalCloak. Champions from each division in Ultra4 Series competition gathered to contend for the National Title and Greg Adler and Brent Goegebuer battled for Team 4 Wheel Parts.

4 Wheel Parts announced its most recent retail store acquisition in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The location, formerly Atlantic AutoSports, brought the total of 4 Wheel Parts showrooms to 72 as the Transamerican Auto Parts subsidiary continued its ambitious national retail expansion.

Annual Toys for Tots Drive: 4 Wheel Parts stores across the United States and Canada staged Toys for Tots collections to aid less fortunate children. The drive ran through mid-December and the majority of 4 Wheel Parts’ 72 retail stores were enlisted to distribute unwrapped toys to kids with convenient drop off displays inside their locations.
