Working in the 4 Wheel Parts Mail Order DepartmentMarch 22nd, 2010 by admin
I have to say, it takes a lot of experience and dedication to work in the 4 Wheel Parts mail order department. A strong interest in trucks and years of experience in the sport are good prerequisites for this job. No matter how long you’ve worked here or how much you know, vehicles are constantly evolving and new parts are constantly being developed, so being a quick learner is a plus. Sales skills are also important, but not as vital as product knowledge and customer service.
Nobody wants to buy from someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about (I know I don’t). A desk job has the typical drawbacks of long hours being stuck indoors, but here the atmosphere is much more relaxed and jovial. I’m not saying it’s a slacker’s job. Diligence and hard work are the only things that produce good sales numbers, and good sales numbers are the only things that produce paychecks. This is the first desk job I’ve ever had that can make you come home tired and dehydrated! But it’s also the best job I’ve ever had and, though it’s called work, there’s something here that makes me smile everyday.
