Gale Banks Monster Exhaust Modification
March 16th, 2010 by Greg D.Another modification I did to the 2005 F250 6.0 was adding the Banks’ Dual Monster Exhaust. I chose Banks because of its clean look and clear, original sound.
The installation was fairly simple and straightforward. All the factory hanger locations were reused, and a bolt-on hanger was installed on the driver’s side. The system is a bit bulky and heavy, so I’d recommend getting someone to help you. Banks utilizes the factory catalytic converter and, while I cannot officially recommend removing the cat, it definitely helps lower exhaust gas temperatures and improves performance.
