4 Wheel Parts Rolls Out New 2014 Tonneau CoversJuly 22nd, 2013 by David Beran
4 Wheel Parts unveiled its new line of 2014 tonneau covers just as spring segued into summer. With temperatures ticking up and people becoming more active outdoors, these accessories are more important for truck owners looking to protect their pickup beds from prying eyes and safeguard their valuables.
And then there’s style.
Form is every bit as important as function when it comes to tonneau covers and drivers are always looking for quick affordable ways to stylize their rides. Cover styles span the full spectrum from roll-up to retractable to folding from top brands like Extang, TruXedo, and BAK Industries.
A variety of designs offer custom fits for different sized truck beds. Choices range from hard and soft styles including folding, retractable and roll-up covers.
At the end of April, Extang released new applications for their most popular covers, including Trifecta, EnCore, and Solid Fold. “We’re pleased to partner with 4 Wheel Parts on our new applications for the 2014 Chevy and GMC models,” says Extang’s Vice President of Sales, Steve Kelly. “4 Wheel Parts updated their site quickly to include our new models, and they’ve been active and supportive of our company and its brands.”
Tonneau covers are viewed as a wise investment for truck owners to protect and enhance utility vehicles. They safeguard cargo and protect against wind, rain, and snow. Different regions in North America expose pickups to extreme heat, bitter cold and other elements like dust, sea air, and sand.
Their quick installation time, all weather sealing systems, and locking systems with various security options make tonneau covers convenient customizations. Most have rail clamp mounting that won’t damage beds and feature vinyl or fiber reinforced plastic material with aircraft grade frame.
“Along with floor mats, tonneau covers top the list of styling accessories that owners love to buy for their new trucks,” says Brandon Hood, 4 Wheel Parts Merchandising and Product Manager. “4 Wheel Parts has a wide range of styles and offers a lot of hard covers for pickup owners to protect valuable cargo.”
