4 Wheel Parts Rolls Out New Pro Comp Explorer Lights for Trucks and JeepsMarch 7th, 2014 by David Beran
4 Wheel Parts is now selling Pro Comp’s Explorer lights for trucks and Jeeps online and at their 64 stores throughout North America. The Explorer line features LED, sport bar, high intensity discharge and halogen quartz lights and 4×4 owners are responding positively.
“Our nearly 20 years of experience in aftermarket lighting puts Pro Comp in a great position to deliver this new line of Explorer lights and we’re building on what we’ve learned off-roaders are looking for,” says Pro Comp Marketing Manager Mark Mathews. “Feedback we’ve received shows us that truck and Jeep owners are ready for alternatives to halogen bulbs like ultra-efficient LEDs and HIDs.”
Pro Comp’s universal mount, ultra-bright LED lights are extremely efficient, providing over 50,000 hours of life and a lower wattage draw on a Jeep’s battery. Their durable design makes them popular with off-roaders into night wheeling in extreme terrain. The lights are available in single and double row flat bars, following one of the latest trends for Jeep accessories.
The Explorer high intensity discharge (HID) lights emit light 300% brighter than traditional 55-watt halogen bulbs and last 500% longer than standard halogen bulbs. Halogen quartz light options include an array of sizes and styles for various off-road applications.
90% of Pro Comp’s new Explorer lights are over 55 watts, making them non DOT-approved. They are strictly for off-roading and not approved for street and highway use.
